Mel got their professional start in Staten Island, NY. Despite the humble beginning, their talents and unwavering dedication led to a flourishing career in digital media. 

 

After completing a BA in Cinema Production, Mel collaborated with local filmmakers and creatives to produce videos showcasing Staten Island's vibrant communities. They went on to curate local film festivals and held multi-hyphenate Director/Producer/Editor roles with short films like COFFEE & SISTERS, THE LETTER J, and THE NOTHING. 

 

At every stage of production, Mel Pellicano fearlessly pushes boundaries and consistently strives to create impactful narratives that leave a lasting impression no matter the budget size.
